It is difficult for me to write objectively regarding a man I held in such high esteem.  I am certain there are many who could give a much better account of the life and times of David Andersen.

David was a kind, gentle soul that befriended everyone, including me.  My first exposure to him was at a PTG convention and I was taken by this man and his philosophy of business.  When I met David, his body was already being twisted and changed by the effects o Rheumatoid arthritis.  That said, he would never point at himself nor take others credit.  Yet he was very humbly one of the best piano technicians I have ever worked with or around.  Here is a copy of his obituary as it appears on the “Find a Grave” website.

To say he was a mentor of mine is to take liberties with our relationship.  However, no one has influenced me more, both as a businessman and a human being, than David Andersen and for his influences I am profoundly grateful.
